SUMMARY:
On March 15, 2001, at approximately 2:15 p.m., the school resource officer was notified of an incident involving a makeshift “trap” placed in the school’s auto shop area. A fifteen-year-old male student, Brett Acker, sustained minor injuries when a tool cabinet tipped over onto him. Investigations revealed the cabinet had been tampered with.

WITNESS STATEMENTS:
1. Brett Acker (Victim) stated he teased Kevin McAllister earlier that day about being a “little psycho.” Acker claims Kevin threatened to make him “pay” for humiliating him in front of classmates.
2. Kevin McAllister denied tampering with the cabinet, stating, “I don’t need to stoop to his level.”

INVESTIGATIVE NOTES:
- The contraption that caused the cabinet to fall appeared to be engineered with rope and a counterweight. 
- No direct evidence ties Kevin McAllister to the act, though multiple classmates mention his engineering abilities and previous run-ins with bullies.

STATUS:
The case remains inconclusive. Administration has been advised to monitor any further conflicts between Acker and McAllister.
